1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
2. While the pasta is cooking, wash and dry the basil. Then, in a blender, mix the basil with the almonds, garlic, olive oil and a pinch of salt. Blend until a smooth consistency of pesto is achieved.
3. Drain the pasta and stir in the pesto and strips of salmon. Serve when cooled – the perfect summer or winter dish.
