Spaghetti Bucatini

Bucattini is a long, round pasta resembling spaghetti that surprises not only with a hole in the middle (“buco”, from Italian “hole”), but above all with the volume it gives to dishes. It is particularly popular in Sicily and Rome, where it is usually served with amatriciana sauce based on bacon, tomatoes and pecorino sheep’s cheese. It also tastes great with fresh herbs and butter.
