Penne alla Arrabiata 15' 2


  • 250g Penne Rigate pasta Melissa Primo Gusto
  • 1 carton of tomato puree with chilli Melissa Primo Gusto
  • 1 chilli pepper
  • 1 teaspoon basil pesto Melissa Primo Gusto
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Pomace olive oil Melissa Primo Gusto
  • 1 handful fresh basil leaves
  • Salt, pepper


1. Cook pasta until al dente, according to package instructions. 

2. In a frying pan, heat the oil and fry the finely chopped chilli, garlic and capers. You can also fry a chicken breast using the combination of these spices.

3. Once the garlic releases its flavour, pour in the tomato puree with chilli. Simmer until the liquid partially evaporates and the sauce reaches the desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper.

4. Mix the pasta with the sauce and add some chopped basil leaves. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, add a touch of basil pesto and serve.
